Your all day expirience starts with your basic training with Danger UXB Bomb Squad EOD specialists, you will learn the history of bomb disposal from WW2 to the current time, along with the skills to defuse improvised bombs along with the tricks and myths to answer that all important question "is it the Red wire or blue wire"?
After the morning session, with a bit of luck you will be able to answer this question and become a highly specialised Danger UXB Bomb Squad technician. |

During your afternoon experience session, using the skills you learnt in the morning, you will be tasked with locating, defusing, and preventing a disaster. Will you and your team rise to the challenge in time, or will the clock run out? |

- Availability Description
- Every Saturday from 10.00 to 16.00 hours Saturday between March through to October.
- Participant Guidelines
- Minimum age is 16. Parental consent is required for under 18's. You must be reasonably physically fit.
- This experience is not suitable for people with disabilities, although hearing-impaired participants are welcome.
- Weather
- This is an all-weather experience and some activities take place outdoors - if it's raining, expect to get wet! Please note, the activities may be upgraded on the day according to certain weather conditions (or other logistics).
- Duration Detail
- The experience lasts for around six hours.
- Numbers On The Day
- Up to 10 take part, split into two supervised groups of 5.
- Dress Code
- Dress for the weather and wrap up well in winter - activities take place outdoors and indoors. Wear flat shoes - walking boots or trainers are ideal. Eye protection will be provided when necessary. Changing facilities are available.
